Exhilarating Backbends, is a Forrest Yoga class that asks you to consciously explore, an open heart and open hips. Backbends are energizing, uplifting, and can take your body and mind to a free and powerful space. You will learn how Forrest Yoga carefully and strategically warms and prepares the body to achieve deeper openings to ease into your backbends. Forrest Yoga is a healing, all-levels practice created by Ana Forrest that rests on the pillars of breath, strength, integrity, and spirit and encourages you to take the gifts you have learned in class beyond the mat and into the rest of your life. Longer holds are used to achieve the full potential of that pose, and heat aides to free the body from toxins. This workshop is for all levels of practitioners; you will leave feeling the exhilaration that comes from intense backbending!

About Caroline:

Caroline Valites has a passion for yoga and takes satisfaction in inspiring people of all levels and abilities to achieve their ultimate potential in physical and mental strength. She discovered yoga 20 years ago after a running injury and fell in love with Forrest yoga’s physical and mental therapeutic potentials. Forrest Yoga is a healing, all-levels practice created by Ana Forrest that rests on the pillars of breath, strength, integrity, and spirit and encourages you to take the gifts you have learned in class beyond the mat and into the rest of your life. Since becoming Forrest Yoga Certified in 2008, Caroline has been teaching workshops and classes throughout the state of Connecticut and seeks to create a caring studio environment that challenges her students no matter their level.
