Join Alec Butterfield for an evening of blissful sound and meditation. Alec first leads us through a short period of slow, gentle yoga asana (poses) to prepare us for a delicious, candle-lit extended savasana (corpse pose). Throughout savasana, bathe in the beautiful and mysterious sounds of Alec’s carnatic melodies, mantra, harmonium and throat singing. After drinking in all the auditory goodness, find your body and mind ready for a five minute seated silent meditation.
No prior experience necessary. If you are curious, just come! The preceding gentle yoga is optional; no one will be turned away if just interested in sound meditation. Wear comfortable clothing with extra layers as needed.
